SHED’s™ purpose is to bring wholeness and healing to all who want it! We offer a variety of treatment modalities to address emotional, physical and spiritual pain. Through individual counseling, recovery coaching, group counseling, health coaching, couples counseling, and family counseling we come alongside you to assist transformation and bring freedom from old patterns in relating to food, your health yourself or others. Rachel Quast, M.A., founder of SHED™, has personally experienced anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating and spiritual and family trauma; as well as a variety of health challenges like adrenal fatigue, cancer and hypothyroidism. She uses her experiences and formal education to touch the hearts of those with whom she works. Rachel has lead eating disorder groups since 1996 and began counseling those with eating disorders and other issues in 2006. She also counsels those working through relationship issues,  spiritual struggles, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, life transitions or feelings of just being stuck. It is her passion and what she felt called to do in 1988, while she was in treatment herself. Prior to counseling, Rachel was a teacher for at-risk youth. She wrote two books on eating disorder recovery and has spoken nationally at conferences, schools and all day in-service trainings, starting in 1993. In addition to counseling others, she enjoys writing, weight lifting, dancing, hiking, nature, warm weather, and the ocean.
